What if your range hood only appears when you need it?
In a modern kitchen, every detail contributes to the overall space. You want the appliances to perform when you need them, but when cooking is over, you may prefer a clean and uncluttered kitchen.
FOTILE Smart AI Elevator Range Hood BIG9059 takes this idea literally, with a hidden design that moves up and down like an elevator, appearing when it’s time to cook and stay hidden when it’s not.
1. An Elevator for Your Kitchen
At first glance, guests might wonder if you even installed a cooker hood. FOTILE BIG9059 stays concealed within the kitchen design, without the typical hood constantly hanging above the hob.
Then, it’s time to cook. With its elevator-style movement, the BIG9059 smoothly descend down into position, ready to get to work as cooking begins.
It’s almost like giving your kitchen its own little lift, except instead of carrying people between floors, it brings the range hood down closer to the cooking area, helping to capture cooking smoke and fumes before they spread throughout the kitchen. And once it has done its job, it rises back into the cabinet, keeping the range hood neatly concealed and the kitchen looking neat and seamless.
2. Built to Move, Tested to Last
A range hood that moves up and down naturally raises a question: will the mechanism remain reliable after years of everyday use?
This range hood is built with durability in mind. Its lifting mechanism has undergone rigorous lifespan testing of up to 50,000 cycles, designed to verify its ability to operate through repeated daily use. But what does 50,000 cycles really mean? Imagine using your cooker hood 10 times a day, switching it on and off each time you cook. Even at that rate, it would take approximately 13 years to reach 50,000 cycles. That’s a lot of everyday use!
So, while the BIG9059 may move differently from a conventional range hood, its elevator-style mechanism isn’t just designed to impress, it’s tested to keep performing over the long term.
3. Your Height, Your Preference
Sometimes you want the hood closer for cooking, while other times you prefer a little more space for taller cookware. This range hood gives you the flexibility to adjust its height position to suit your cooking comfort. Whether you want to raise it for taller cookware and more clearance or lower it closer to the cooktop for more focused extraction, you can adjust the height to suit your cooking needs. And when you’ve found your preferred position, the Memory Mode helps remember the height, so the hood can return to your chosen position the next time you use it.
4. Smart Enough to Follow Your Moves
Hands covered in flour? Oil splattering? In the middle of a stir-fry? No problem!
With Smart SMOTION (Smoke + Motion) Detection, you don’t need to reach for the control panel. Simply wave your hand to turn it on or off, a small gesture that makes a big difference when your hands are busy cooking.
And it gets smarter with Smart Sync. When paired with a compatible gas hob, the range hood automatically turns on when the hob is ignited, creating a more seamless cooking experience.
5. Maximum Power, Minimum Disruption
Behind its refined exterior, BIG9059 is powered by a Brushless Direct Current (BLDC) motor built to handle demanding extraction. With a maximum static pressure of 1240 Pa, it can tackle long and winding air ducts. At the same time, its impressive maximum airflow of 2850 m³/h helps draw away cooking fumes, smoke and odours when cooking gets intense, from high-heat stir-frying to preparing several dishes at once.
But powerful doesn’t have to mean noisy. With noise levels as low as 39 dB, the range hood keeps the kitchen more comfortable, even when you need to cook quietly. Whether you’re sneaking into the kitchen at midnight for a bowl of instant ramen or preparing meal while your baby is sleeping, you can enjoy powerful extraction without filling the home with the loud roar of a range hood.
Final Thoughts
A range hood is expected to do one thing well, which is keeping cooking fumes and smoke under control. But the FOTILE Smart AI Elevator Range Hood BIG9059 takes that expectation further by combining powerful performance, thoughtful movement, and durability into one refined kitchen solution.
